A Winter’s Tale
June 2016

This was a collaboration with set design for an adaptation of Shakespeare’s “A Winter’s Tale”. The brief was to maintain the same characters and the relationships between them scripted in the original play, however, the set was switched to a post-apocalyptic wasteland in the future. Colours for both families would be navy and burgundy, and the materials would be mostly fur, leather and, in contrast, very light silk or organza, as these costumes are designer for the harshness of the dessert while maintaining practicality in mind, in this case, high temperatures presented in the desert.
